Lawrencia Boahemaa Awuah is the Senior Human Resource and Operations Officer at the Ghana Chamber of Mines. She oversees six (6) committees within the Chamber and manages the human capital at the Chamber’s Secretariat. Her schedule includes local content for the Chamber, through which she has successfully facilitated a good number of projects, workshops, conferences and programmes towards the local participation and local procurement journey of the mining industry in Ghana.

Over the years, Ms. Awuah’s work in local content has yielded into the development of a Local Content Portal for the Ghanaian mining industry and the organization of annual local content workshops and exhibitions. She also plays a key role in the supplier development initiatives of the Chamber especially for the local manufacturing of activated carbon and grinding media.
