He has over 17 years’ experience in Strategy and Market Intelligence, 6 years of which have been spent working with Debswana. His role includes facilitating inventive thinking for development of short, medium and long-term strategies. He leads the corporate center strategy team responsible for ensuring that the business is integrated across all operations to deliver on the set strategic direction. His portfolio also includes management of strategic risks.

Tekanyo’s educational background includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Strategic Management from University of Derby and a Statistics and Economics Degree from University of Botswana. He also completed a Management Development Programme (MDP) with the University of Stellenbosch.
